Dr. Christopher Green is a keynote speaker, author and chief technology officer at ScanTech AI Systems. He holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech. After losing his wife to cancer, he now speaks to organizations about resilience, reinvention and the work of starting over.
Long bio — 120 words
Dr. Christopher Green is a keynote speaker, author and engineer. He is the chief technology officer at ScanTech AI Systems, where he has led algorithm development for AI detection systems through TSA certification. He holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech, where he was a NASA Harriet Jenkins Fellow and a Packard Fellow, after earning degrees from Morehouse College and Georgia Tech as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar.
After losing his wife, Lorie, to cancer, Chris began speaking about resilience, grief and reinvention to companies, churches, colleges and nonprofits. He has run seven marathons, serves on the board of Kate's Club, and lives in Atlanta with his two sons.
